Call for 2025 vendors!
Events at Historic St. Mary's City relate to the history, natural environment, and mission of the museum. Historic St. Mary's City events MarylandFest and Frost Fair showcase local artisans and food vendors through various handmade crafts, small-batch gourmet goods, and Maryland-made brews.
We welcome applications for Maryland Fest and Frost Fair. Please be sure to read all the details prior to applying.

Spaces
-
Vendors may apply for a 10′ x 10′ and/or 10′ x 20′ space and must stay within these boundaries. If you will need additional space, please get in touch with caitlin.armsworthy@maryland.gov.

You must provide your own tent (unless you will be under the pavilion). Tents anchors must be 6 inches or less in depth (to preserve the archaeological area).

You must provide your own table and chairs.

You will be given time to Load-in and Break-down after the event. Vehicles (unless otherwise authorized) may not be driving on the grounds during the Event.
Load-in / Break-Down

Vendors are responsible for their own set-up and break-down. HSMC staff cannot provide assistance. Should you need help with Load-In or Setup/Breakdown, you are welcome to have helpers accompany you during those times.

Vendors must remain in their spaces during the Event. No booths or items may be taken down or removed prior to the end of the Event.

HSMC cannot provide volunteers to cover a space while a Vendor takes a break. Please plan accordingly with additional assistance or become friendly with your booth neighbors.

Electricity is available for premium vendor locations. Wifi is available, but may not be easily accessible. Please be sure to provide your own hotspot or necessary means to process electronic payments (credit cards + cash to be accepted).

Insurance is required for all vendors (COI).

Events will proceed rain or shine (within safety parameters), please come prepared with water-protective materials.

Trash cans will be located near the Vendor spaces. Please place trash in these receptacles. All boxes must be broken down and no trash is to remain at or near your space at the end of the Event. Please be mindful of the hardworking HSMC Facilities team.

Payment
-
After receiving a notification email, vendors will have ten (10) business days to remit payment in full for their space(s). If payment has not been received, that vendor space will be relinquished and offered to another vendor.

Payment may be made with a credit card over the phone with HSMC's Strategic Engagement Manager. caitlin.armsworthy'@maryland.gov

Should a vendor no longer be able to attend, written notice must be made to HSMC no later than two weeks prior to the event, to receive a full refund. After that time, refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis.
